Pōmaika‘i & Mālie

Pōmaika‘i & Mālie

Multitalented vocalists and musicians Pōmaika‘i Keawe and Mālie Lyman perform Hawaiian music in the distinctive style of Aunty Genoa Keawe. Pōmaika‘i is Aunty Genoa's granddaughter, and Mālie is Aunty Genoa's great-granddaughter.

Separately, each has her own distinctive style, with Pōmaika‘i singing and playing traditional Hawaiian songs in many styles. She follows in Aunty Genoa's footsteps when performing Aunty Genoa's trademark song, ‘Alika, and daughter Māllie is also developing her own ‘Alika style.

Together, the duo, with Pōmaika‘i on ‘ukulele and Mālie on the Hawaiian steel guitar, will provide a musical experience that is hard to beat.
