Dr. John W. Troutman Talk and Book Signing

Author, historian and steel guitarist Dr. John W. Troutman presented a pre-festival talk about the history of the Hawaiian Steel Guitar at Helumoa Hale, the Royal Hawaiian Center's Royal Grove meeting room. Dr. Troutman was also on hand throughout the festival to discuss and autograph his book, "Kika Kila: How the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Changed the Sound of Modern Music."
